Óveðurstilkynning - Severe Weather Notice - Komunikat dotyczący trudnych warunków pogodowych Á mor

Á morgun, miðvikudaginn 14. október, er spáð miklu óveðri sem mun ganga yfir landið. Samkvæmt veðurspám má búast við mjög hvössum vindi og mikilli úrkomu.
Hugsanlegt er að við hér á Suðurnesjum sleppum við versta veðrið, en enn ríkir nokkur óvissa um það.
Við viljum því hvetja alla íbúa til að gera nauðsynlegar ráðstafanir og tryggja vel alla lausamuni utandyra, svo sem garðhúsgögn, trampólín og annað sem getur fokið og valdið tjóni eða hættu.
Sérstaklega er mikilvægt að verktakar og byggingaraðilar hugi vel að öryggi á byggingarsvæðum, tryggi lausamuni, byggingarefni og annan búnað við nýbyggingar.
Miðað við núverandi veðurspár gæti orðið ansi hressilegur veðurhvellur á morgun.
Sýnum fyrirhyggju, göngum frá lausamunum í tíma og fylgjumst vel með veðurspám og viðvörunum, segir í tilkynningu frá lögreglu.
Severe weather is forecast to affect Iceland tomorrow, Wednesday, October 14, with very strong winds and heavy rainfall expected across the country.
The Suðurnes region (Reykjanes Peninsula) may escape the worst of the storm, but there is still some uncertainty regarding its impact on our area.
We strongly encourage all residents to take the necessary precautions and secure any loose outdoor items, such as garden furniture, trampolines, and other objects that could be blown away and cause damage or pose a danger to others.
Contractors and construction companies are particularly urged to secure construction sites, including building materials, equipment, and any loose objects around buildings under construction.
Based on the current forecasts, tomorrow's weather could be particularly severe.
Please take precautions, secure your belongings in good time, and stay updated with the latest weather forecasts and warnings.
