A hoax security threat has forced a Virgin Atlantic plane to make an emergency landing in Iceland. The Boeing 747 was on en route from Gatwick to Orlando, Florida, when cabin crew found a message in one of the plane´s toilets. The aircraft, with about 350 people on board, landed safely at Keflavik airport in Reykjavik at about 4pm on Saturday, before the threat was revealed as a hoax. It had taken off from Gatwick at 11am.
